What are School Supply Kits?

School Start works directly with your child's school and teachers to create school supply kits that contain exactly what is needed by your child to be successful throughout the school year.

How It Works

Select Province & City

Highlight the province to the left of this page. Once highlighted, your province will show up above. You'll then type in your "City" and select "Shop My School".

Choose Grade Level

Select the grade that your child is going into the following school year. You'll then be directed to a supply list that has been customized by your school.

Review & Purchase

Review the customized supply list, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout.

Understanding Your Supply List

Starter Package

These items have been all set by your teachers as the majority of these are consumable products which need to be replaced year after year. Quantity of these items cannot be altered. This section will automatically be included in your total.

Required Items

These items are required by the teacher and need to be ordered if you do not already have them. If you have leftover items from this list from years past, you may bring them from home. They are required, but do not need to be purchased from us directly.

Purchased Elsewhere

If you see this section, these specialty items are required by the teacher but need to be purchased elsewhere, such as gym clothes, running shoes, etc.

Optional Items

If you see this section, these items are "optional". You can purchase them through us if you like, or bring them from home, but are not a necessity.

Notes

If you see this section, there is an important message that your teacher wants you to know about the supply list.

After You've Selected Your Supplies

Once you have selected what supplies you need, you can then "Add to Cart". Once added, you have the following options:

✓"Check Out" and proceed with the prompts to finalize your purchase
✓"Add Another Kit" from the same school
✓"Select Another School" to purchase another kit from there
✓"Visit the Store" if you just need to purchase some additional items such as a backpack, lunch kit, extra supplies, etc.
